WASHINGTON, DC -- Rep. Randy Weber (TX-14) has been added as a co-sponsor of the Local Radio Freedom Act, a resolution that opposes "any new performance fee, tax, royalty, or other charge" on local broadcast radio stations. The resolution now has 200 co-sponsors in the House of Representatives and 19 in the Senate.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- In response to the Senate's passage today of legislation updating the Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS), the following statement can be attributed to NAB Executive Vice President of Communications Dennis Wharton:

Leading media and marketing executives from The Home Depot, one of the country’s leading broadcast advertisers, will participate in a Q&A session at the 2015 Radio Show Advertiser Breakfast. The event, sponsored by Katz Radio Group, will be held on October 1 at the Marriott Marquis Atlanta. The Radio Show is produced by the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) and the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB).
