WASHINGTON, D.C. -- In response to the announcement that NAB Executive Vice President of Government Relations Laurie Knight will be joining the Association of American Railroads as Senior Vice President of Government Affairs, NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith issued the following statement:

WASHINGTON, DC -- The NAB Education Foundation (NABEF) celebrated the 13th annual Service to America Awards last night at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. The dinner and awards ceremony recognized the exceptional public service contributions of radio and television broadcasters and featured the presentation of the Service to America Leadership Award to Oscar-winning actor Jeff Bridges for his dedication to ending childhood hunger in America.

WASHINGTON, DC-- The National Association of Broadcasters Joint Board of Directors held meetings in Washington, DC on June 7 and 8. Below is a summary of their actions.
