And more from Promo Mojo, our exclusive weekly ranking of the programming networks are promoting most heavily
B&C has partnered with attention and conversion analytics company iSpot.tv to bring you a weekly chart we call Promo Mojo: exclusive data showing the top five TV promos ranked by TV ad impressions. These are the shows networks have been promoting most heavily to drive tune-in (our data covers the seven-day period through Aug. 5).
On the strength of nearly 281 million TV ad impressions, TLC tops our ranking with a promo for 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days (the “prequel” version of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise). It’s a new entry in our top five, unlike the promos for USA’s The Sinner, which jumps from fourth place last time to second place this time, and Food Network’s The Great Food Truck Race, which slips from second to third.
Closing out our chart are two more new entries: National Geographic’s Yellowstone Live and FX’s Mayans MC.
Notably, The Great Food Truck Race scores the highest iSpot Attention Index (136) in our ranking, getting 36% fewer interruptions than the average promo (interruptions include changing the channel, pulling up the guide, fast-forwarding or turning off the TV).
