WASHINGTON, DC - NAB FASTROAD today announced the release of a final report on field testing of digital single frequency network (SFN) technology for FM in-band/on-channel (IBOC) digital radio. This work has been undertaken by iBiquity Digital Corporation, developers of the HD Radioâ„¢ IBOC system used by U.S. broadcasters to transition to digital radio, and is being co-funded by iBiquity and NAB FASTROAD.

WASHINGTON - NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith today announced the promotions of Christopher Ornelas to chief operating officer and Joy Whitlow to chief financial officer and executive vice president, NAB Finance.
WASHINGTON, DC/NEW YORK -- The NAB Marconi Radio Awards Dinner & Show will feature Artista Nashville recording artist Ronnie Dunn with a full band performance. The performance, sponsored by Patrick Communications, will occur on Thursday, September 15 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, the venue for the 2011 Radio Show, produced by the NAB and RAB.

Howard University's WHUR-FM will receive the award for its Urban World multicast station, 96.3-HD2 WHUR-WORLD. The award will be presented on Thursday, September 15 at the 2011 Radio Show, produced by NAB and RAB at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.
