WASHINGTON, D.C. -- In regards to a study and ex parte filing submitted with the Federal Communications Commission on the reallocation of local television stations following the broadcast spectrum incentive auction, the following statement can be attributed to NAB Executive Vice President of Communications Dennis Wharton:

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The National Association of Broadcasters announced today that Alison Neplokh, the Federal Communications Commission’s deputy chief technologist, will join NAB as vice president, Spectrum Policy on December 14. Neplokh comes to NAB after serving for more than a decade at the FCC.

The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), producer of NAB Show and Content & Communications World (CCW), featuring SATCON, announced today it is rebranding the CCW event, which will now be called “NAB Show New York.” Attracting some 7,000 attendees annually and showcasing a full range of next-generation technology for media and entertainment professionals, the newly named NAB Show New York is taking place today and tomorrow at the Javits Convention Center in New York City.
