Award-winning CBS news correspondent Lara Logan will be the featured speaker at the Radio Luncheon, held September 30 during the Radio Show and sponsored by NextRadio. Logan’s address will provide insight on her experiences as a leading international news reporter. The 2015 Radio Show, produced by the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) and the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB), is held September 30 – October 2 in Atlanta.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Online contributions are now being accepted for a memorial fund supporting the families of two broadcast journalists slain last month during the Roanoke TV shooting. Those wishing to contribute to the ‘Alison & Adam Memorial Fund’ can do so at http://www.nab.org/donate. Donations to the fund will be accepted until the end of November.

WASHINGTON, DC -- Two Members of the House of Representatives and one Senator have been added as co-sponsors of the Local Radio Freedom Act, a resolution that opposes "any new performance fee, tax, royalty, or other charge" on local broadcast radio stations. The resolution now has 208 co-sponsors in the House of Representatives and 20 in the Senate.
