WASHINGTON, DC -- Sens. Barbara Mikulski (D-MD) and Jon Tester (D-MT) have been added as co-sponsors of the Local Radio Freedom Act, a resolution that opposes "any new performance fee, tax, royalty, or other charge" on local broadcast radio stations. The resolution now has 173 co-sponsors in the House of Representatives and 15 in the Senate.

WASHINGTON, DC -- Four members of the House of Representatives have been added as co-sponsors of the Local Radio Freedom Act, a resolution that opposes "any new performance fee, tax, royalty, or other charge" on local broadcast radio stations. The resolution now has 177 co-sponsors in the House of Representatives and 15 in the Senate.

The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) announced today that it will accept nominations for the 2015 NAB Marconi Radio Awards until May 29. The Marconi Radio Awards recognize overall excellence in radio.
