WVBA Excellence 1040x250 2024

WASHINGTON, DC -- Today the National Association of Broadcasters released a new resource for broadcasters assessing their options for participating in the upcoming incentive auction. This information provides a market-by-market compilation of data the FCC has released concerning opening bid prices and high-end estimated payouts. It also provides a first look at the number of volunteer stations the FCC may need to participate in each market to repurpose targeted amounts of spectrum. This analysis is based entirely on information the FCC has publicly released.

Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chairman Tom Wheeler will speak at the 2015 NAB Show in Las Vegas, the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) announced today. The address, which will be held Wednesday, April 15, 9:00-10:00 a.m., is expected to provide insight into the FCC’s policy and regulatory objectives related to broadcasting, technology and communications law generally.

The National Association of Broadcasters announced today that radio engineer Thomas F. King of Kintronic Labs and television innovator Richard M. Friedel of Fox have been named the 2015 recipients of the NAB Engineering Achievement Awards.
