WVBA Excellence 1040x250 2024

In response to a scheduled hearing tomorrow on the "LPTV and Translator Preservation Act of 2014" by the House Energy & Commerce Subcommittee on Communications and Technology, the following statement can be attributed to NAB Executive Vice President of Communications Dennis Wharton:

WASHINGTON, DC -- FCC rules that enable broadcast TV stations to enforce the right to air network and syndicated television programming on an exclusive basis provide significant ratings and economic benefits that boost broadcasters' investment in localism, according to comments filed today by the National Association of Broadcasters.

WASHINGTON, DC -- John Landgraf, CEO of FX Networks and FX Productions NY, will deliver the keynote address at the 2014 Content and Communications World (CCW), held November 12-13 in New York. CCW+SATCON, produced by the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), is the East Coast's most significant content and communications event.
