WASHINGTON, D.C. -- In response to today's vote by the FCC prohibiting joint retransmission consent negotiations between broadcasters in the same market, the following statement can be attributed to NAB Executive Vice President of Communications Dennis Wharton:

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith testified today at a Senate Subcommittee on Communications, Technology, and the Internet hearing on "Reauthorization of the Satellite Television Extension and Localism Act."

NAB Show, the world's largest annual conference and expo for professionals who create, manage and distribute entertainment across all platforms, will feature a Super Session highlighting one of the top trending independent films of 2014, "Camp Takota: Feature Filmmaking in the Age of YouTube." The Super Session will take place on Wednesday, April 9 at 2:30 p.m. in Las Vegas.
