The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), in conjunction with The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS), will host a member event on the state of the mobile TV marketplace on November 13 at the NAB headquarters in Washington, D.C. The event will highlight developments in mobile TV and the opportunities it presents for broadcasters to provide programming on-the-go for viewers.

WASHINGTON, DC -- In response to the introduction of the "Consumer Choice in Online Video Act" by Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D-WV) today, the following statement can be attributed to NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith:

WASHINGTON, DC -- A bipartisan coalition of 23 Senators led by Sens. John Tester (D-MT) and Orrin Hatch (R-UT) sent a letter to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) urging the FCC to consider the importance of translators and low-power television stations to rural communities as the rules to the broadcast spectrum incentive auction are finalized.
