WVBA Excellence 1040x250 2024

WASHINGTON, D.C. – In response to local radio and television broadcasters providing comprehensive news coverage of yesterday's devastating tornado that struck Moore, Oklahoma, the following statement can be attributed to NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith:

Ginny Hubbard Morris, chair of Hubbard Radio LLC, will receive the National Radio Award during the Radio Show Luncheon, Friday, September 20. The luncheon will take place during the 2013 Radio Show, jointly produced by the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) and Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB), September 18-20 in Orlando.

The NAB Education Foundation (NABEF) announced the application deadline for the 2014 Broadcast Leadership Training program (BLT) is May 31. The program is designed to prepare senior broadcasters, particularly women and people of color, to own and operate radio and television stations or move into more senior positions within the industry.
