WVBA Excellence 1040x250 2024

The NAB Education Foundation (NABEF) will present the Corporate Leadership Award to Lowe's Companies, Inc. during the 15th annual Celebration of Service to America Awards, held Monday, June 3, at the Washington Convention Center. The award recognizes non-broadcast businesses that exemplify an extraordinary focus on community service and corporate social responsibility.

WASHINGTON, DC -- NAB Executive Vice President of Legal and Regulatory Affairs Jane Mago testified today before the House Subcommittee on Communications and Technology today at a hearing entitled "Satellite Video 101" regarding the December 31, 2014 expiration of the Satellite Television Extension and Localism Act.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The National Association of Broadcasters today expressed support for a bipartisan resolution co-sponsored by 73 Members of Congress recognizing the promotional value of music on free and local radio stations. The Local Radio Freedom Act (H. Con. Res. 16), introduced by Reps. Michael Conaway (R-Texas) and Gene Green (D-Texas), signals opposition to any potential legislation that would impose new performance royalties on broadcast radio stations for music airplay.
