RAB President and CEO Erica Farber gave opening remarks this afternoon during the 2012 Radio Show produced by RAB and NAB. Below is the full-text of Farber's prepared remarks.

Winners of the 2012 National Association of Broadcasters Marconi Radio Awards were announced Thursday night at the annual NAB Marconi Radio Awards Dinner & Show held at the Radio Show in Dallas, TX.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- In response to bipartisan legislation offered today in the House of Representatives by Reps. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) and Rep. Jared Polis (D-CO) and in the Senate by Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) to reform music streaming rates, NAB released the following statement:
