WASHINGTON, D.C. -- In response to the letter from Mediacom's Rocco Commisso to FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski regarding retransmission consent, NAB Executive Vice President of CommunicationsDennis Wharton issued the following statement:

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- NAB Television Board Chair Marci Burdick has appointed Nils Larsen to the NAB TV Board of Directors effective immediately. Larsen takes the board seat that was vacated by Jerry Kersting.

The NAB Education Foundation (NABEF) will host a Career Networking Event at the Radio Show on Friday, September 16. Recruiters in attendance will include Clear Channel, the Star Radio Group, American Urban Radio Networks (AURN) and other companies in the radio business.
