WASHINGTON, DC -- The NAB Education Foundation (NABEF) and the Broadcast Education Association (BEA) announced yesterday the winners of their annual Freedom of Speech public service announcement (PSA) competition for college communications students. The first-place winners in the radio and television categories will be recognized at the Society of Professional Journalists' (SPJ) annual conference on Monday, September 26, 2011 in New Orleans, La.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- In response to the decision this morning by the Third Circuit Court of Appeals regarding the FCC's broadcast ownership rules, NAB Executive Vice President of Communications Dennis Wharton offered the following statement:

WASHINGTON, DC -- Suzanne Goucher, President & CEO of the Maine Association of Broadcasters is scheduled to testify this morning before the House Committee on Homeland Security Subcommittee on Emergency Preparedness, Response, and Communications in a hearing titled "Communicating With the Public During Emergencies: An Update on Federal Alert and Warning Efforts."
