The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) announced today a new member benefit program with Agility Recovery Solutions that provides NAB members with the services they need to ensure that radio and television stations continue to broadcast to their communities during life-threatening situations.

Over the years, radio has expanded into new products and frontiers. New technologies (such as integrated FM antennas, power-saving and low profile chipsets) have made it feasible for local broadcast radio receivers to be included in fixed and mobile consumer electronic devices, including cellular phones.

Famed tech guru and radio host Leo Laporte will be podcasting live from the 2011 NAB Show on The TWiT Netcast Network, producing both regular programming and special coverage of the event throughout his popular network of shows at http://live.twit.tv.
