WVBA Excellence 1040x250 2024

The U.S Intellectual Property Enforcement Coordinator (IPEC) at the White House today issued a statement endorsing a "performance right" that would require radio stations to pay a fee to record labels and performers for music played on free and local radio stations.

Mary Davie, assistant commissioner for the Federal Acquisition Service's Office of Integrated Technology Services (ITS), and Michael DeChiara, executive director in AT&T's Advanced Enterprise Solutions organization, will discuss the General Services Administration's (GSA) rollout of its new telepresence network at the NAB Show's Telepresence Conference on April 12 in Las Vegas.

The following quote can be attributed to NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith in response to FCC Chairman Genachowski's broadband speech before the Mobile Future Forum today.
