The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) announced today that it will accept nominations for the 2016 NAB Marconi Radio Awards until May 31. The Marconi Radio Awards recognize overall excellence and performance in radio.

Renowned financial expert and radio host Dave Ramsey will keynote the 2016 Radio Show, held September 21-23 in Nashville and produced by the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB) and the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB). Ramsey’s address will include a conversation with country music star and businessman John Rich and will be held Wednesday, September 21 at the Omni Hotel.
Excellent meeting this morning with Senator Manchin and Senator Capito. Broadcasters from across the state gathered together and discussed issues such as retrans, spectrum, broadband, WV economic issues, etc.
Thank you to those that took the time to attend. It’s rare to get both Senators together and be able to have a frank, open conversation. Never underestimate the message it sends to our representatives that we are listening, we are supportive and we need to work together.
