WASHINGTON, D.C.-- In response to an FCC order eliminating a rule allowing broadcast TV station owners to discount UHF stations when calculating compliance with the national audience reach cap, the following statement can be attributed to NAB Executive Vice President of Communications Dennis Wharton:

Speaking proposals are now being accepted for the Broadcast Engineering and Information Technology Conference (BEITC) at the 2017 NAB Show, held April 22-27, in Las Vegas. Proposals for all other conferences and signature sessions open September 15. NAB Show is the world's largest electronic media show covering the creation, management and delivery of content across all platforms.
