WASHINGTON, D.C. – In response to the nomination of FCC Commissioner Michael O'Rielly to another five-year term that ends in June 2024, the following statement can be attributed to NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith:

Washington, D.C. – NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith today issued a letter to the NAB Show community providing an update about plans for NAB Show activities in 2020. In the letter, Smith announced that rather than rescheduling NAB Show for later this year, NAB would be unveiling a new digital offering called NAB Show Express, and enhancing NAB Show New York later this year.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The National Association of Broadcasters announced today that local radio and TV stations across America have donated airtime estimated at over $10 million for a public service announcement (PSA) campaign on COVID-19 since the initiative’s launch on March 12. Almost 36,000 PSAs, aimed at helping educate Americans about preventing the spread of the virus, have aired on broadcast TV and radio.
