Ted Schilowitz, futurist at 20th Century Fox and Chief Creative Officer at Barco, will speak at the NAB Show Technology Luncheon, held Wednesday, April 20 in Las Vegas and sponsored by LG Electronics. NAB Show is the annual conference and expo for professionals who create, manage and distribute media and entertainment across all platforms.

The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) announced today it will add additional security procedures at the 2016 NAB Show, April 16 – 21 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. While there are no known threats to the convention, event organizers believe these enhanced measures are important to ensure that NAB Show participants can conduct business in a safe and secure environment.

NAB Show, the world’s largest annual conference and expo for professionals who create, manage, and distribute entertainment across all platforms, will feature a broad slate of activities dedicated to the latest trends in virtual reality (VR). The 2016 NAB Show will showcase the latest VR content from around the globe, host sessions that feature Academy-Award winning content creators discussing how they’re working within the VR medium, and offer a comprehensive slate of programming that will provide attendees with the latest techniques for creating VR content and the best way to position it for creative and commercial success. The convention takes place April 16 – 21 in Las Vegas.
Key members of the team behind FOX’S runaway hit series EMPIRE will appear at NAB Show next month in Las Vegas. Fox Television Group Chairmen and CEOs Dana Walden and Gary Newman, EMPIRE showrunner Ilene Chaiken and actor and musician Bryshere “Yazz” Gray from the show will participate in the general session “EMPIRE: Inside the Mega-hit Broadcast Series” which will be moderated by Michael Schneider, executive editor at IndieWire and editor-at-large at Variety. The session is scheduled for Tuesday, April 19th at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The Media Technologies for Military and Government Conference at the 2016 NAB Show this year will focus on the challenges faced by government and industry, identify solutions for those challenges and examine future opportunities. The conference is scheduled for Monday, April 18 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and is produced by NAB Technology.
WASHINGTON -- The National Association of Broadcasters has announced the results of the 2016 NAB Radio and Television Board elections. The two-year terms of the elected board members will begin in June 2016.
NAB Show will host 60+ international delegations this year from every continent, including first-time delegations from Afghanistan, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Cuba, Saudi Arabia and Zimbabwe. Nearly 26 percent of the event’s more than 100,000 attendees will travel from 160+ countries to NAB Show, held April 16-21 in Las Vegas.
