The NAB Education Foundation (NABEF) is accepting applications for the 2020 Broadcast Leadership Training (BLT) program.

NAB Show and Citizine Networks, Inc. announced today the nominees for the second annual Travel Video Awards (TVAs). The awards honor innovative and inspiring travel videos released in 2018 by independent filmmakers, the travel industry, media companies, lifestyle brands, and others. Winners will be presented during a ceremony on Tuesday, April 9 as part of the 2019 NAB Show in Las Vegas.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – In response to the FCC's approval of an order authorizing the reimbursement of low-power television, TV translator and FM broadcast stations for costs incurred as a result of the broadcast television spectrum incentive auction repack, the following statement can be attributed to NAB Executive Vice President of Communications Dennis Wharton:

“This Is Us” and “Black Panther” star Sterling K. Brown will receive the NAB Television Chairman’s Award during the NAB: We Are Broadcasters Celebration on Tuesday, April 9 at the 2019 NAB Show in Las Vegas. The award honors individuals for significant achievements in television.

WASHINGTON, DC -- Seven Members of the House of Representatives and six Senators have added their cosponsorship to a resolution opposing "any new performance fee, tax, royalty, or other charge" on local broadcast radio stations. The Local Radio Freedom Act (LRFA) signals Members of Congress's opposition to any potential legislation that would impose new performance royalties on broadcast radio stations for music airplay.

The 2020 NAB Show will be held April 18 - 22, with exhibits open April 19 - 22, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) will present the NAB Engineering Achievement Awards at the 2019 NAB Show in Las Vegas. Cavell, Mertz & Associates’ President Garrison C. Cavell and Senior Broadcast Consulting Engineer Cindy Hutter Cavell will receive the awards at the We Are Broadcasters Celebration on Tuesday, April 9.
