WASHINGTON, D.C. – In response to the appointment of Karyn Temple as Register of Copyrights and director of the U.S. Copyright Office, the following statement can be attributed to NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith:

NAB Show will feature an exclusive keynote discussion focused on how cloud technology is redefining sports broadcasting and driving audience engagement. The session, produced by Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS), an Amazon.com company, will explore how sports leagues, broadcasters, and over-the-top (OTT) service providers use cloud-based media workflows and advanced artificial intelligence services to deliver new experiences for sports fans. The Main Stage session titled, “Beyond the Field: How Sports Pioneers are Powering the 360 Audience Experience in the Cloud,” will take place on Monday, April 8 at 2:30 p.m.

WASHINGTON -- The National Association of Broadcasters has announced the results of the 2019 NAB Radio and Television Board elections. The two-year terms of the elected board members will begin in June 2019.

The 2019 NAB Show is launching the new Influencer Series: Sports and Entertainment. High-profile executives from leading sports and entertainment companies will participate in a series of in-depth discussions on strategies for success in an era of increasing competition. NAB Show is held April 6-11.

The affiliate boards of directors of ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX Television will once again hold meetings during the 2019 NAB Show, held April 6 – 11 in Las Vegas. The CW Network will also host meetings with their affiliated television station representatives.

More than 200 companies will exhibit for the first time at the 2019 NAB Show, the world’s largest convention encompassing the convergence of media, entertainment and technology.
