WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The House Appropriations Committee today adopted an amendment sponsored by Rep. Andy Harris (R-MD) that would grandfather existing sharing arrangements between local television stations in place before March 31, 2014 as part of its markup of the Fiscal Year 2016 Financial Service and General Government Appropriations Bill. The amendment passed the Committee on a recorded vote of 38-11, with 30 Republicans and 8 Democrats in support.
