NAB Show, the world’s largest gathering of vendors driving the future of media and entertainment, announced today that the show floor has expanded to over one million net square feet of exhibit space with 244 companies exhibiting for the first time. The exhibition will feature new products and next-generation technologies displayed through interactive exhibits, live demonstrations and technology-focused pavilions. NAB Show, held April 11-16 (exhibits open April 13-16) at the Las Vegas Convention Center, is the annual conference and expo for professionals who create, manage and distribute entertainment across all platforms.

NAB Show, the world’s largest annual conference and expo for professionals who create, manage, and distribute entertainment across all platforms, will take a deep dive into cybersecurity this year, hosting sessions and conferences that discuss the latest in digital asset, media, and station protection. The convention takes place April 11 – 16 in Las Vegas.
The National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation (NABEF) announced the winners for the 2015 Celebration of Service to America Awards, recognizing outstanding community service by local broadcasters. Winners will be honored at the Celebration of Service to America dinner, held Tuesday, June 16 at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C.

The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) announced today that Lieutenant General Raymond Palumbo, Director for Defense Intelligence (Warfighter Support,) will keynote the Media Technologies for Military & Government Workshop at NAB Show in Las Vegas. General Palumbo’s keynote “Defense Intelligence in a Challenging Future” will take place Wednesday, April 15 at 10:30.

Scott Foley, who stars as Jake Ballard on ABC’s hit drama “Scandal,” will emcee the NAB Show Television Luncheon. Sponsored by RBC Capital Markets, the Luncheon will take place Monday, April 13 at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino.

NAB Show today announced the schedule for the third annual SPROCKIT program. SPROCKIT showcases 30 emerging companies that were hand-selected by industry experts because of their potential to disrupt the media and entertainment industry. SPROCKIT gives startups the opportunity to meet on equal ground with executives at leading media and entertainment companies to discuss new technology or creative solutions to solving the industry’s biggest challenges.
