The NAB Education Foundation (NABEF) will present its Corporate Leadership Award to Unilever, in recognition of the work of the Unilever Foundation, during the 17th annual Celebration of Service to America Awards, held Tuesday, June 16, at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. Each year, the Corporate Leadership Award is given to a non-broadcast business that exemplifies an extraordinary focus on community service and corporate social responsibility.

Federal Communications Commissioners Mignon Clyburn, Michael O'Rielly, Ajit Pai and Jessica Rosenworcel will headline four separate sessions within the Broadcast Management Conference, April 12 – 15 during the 2015 NAB Show in Las Vegas.

WASHINGTON, DC -- A bipartisan group of 11 Members of Congress signed on yesterday as co-sponsors of the Local Radio Freedom Act, a resolution that opposes "any new performance fee, tax, royalty, or other charge" on local broadcast radio stations. In just one week, the resolution has garnered 120 co-sponsors in the House of Representatives and five in the Senate.

Key members of “The Walking Dead” team will appear at NAB Show, which takes place in Las Vegas in April. Cast member Steven Yeun, “The Walking Dead” comic book creator and series executive producer Robert Kirkman and AMC President Charlie Collier are confirmed to participate in the general session “More of What You Crave: The World of ‘The Walking Dead,’” scheduled for Tuesday, April 14 from 9:00-10:00 a.m.

Actor, producer and motivational speaker Tracee Ellis Ross, who stars on the new ABC comedy series “Black-ish,” will receive the 2015 NAB Television Chairman’s Award during the NAB Show Television Luncheon. Sponsored by RBC Capital Markets, the Luncheon will be held Monday, April 13 at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Bonneville International Vice President Of Business Affairs And General Counsel Mike Dowdle testified this morning at a Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Antitrust, Competition Policy and Consumer Rights hearing on antitrust decrees governing performance rights organizations ASCAP and BMI.

The National Association of Broadcasters announced today that FOX Television and the CW Network will host meetings with their affiliated television station representatives at the NAB Show in Las Vegas. Also, the affiliate boards of directors of ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX Television will once again hold meetings during the NAB Show.
