WASHINGTON, DC -- In response to today's Supreme Court 6-3 decision finding that Aereo violates broadcasters' copyrights, the following statement can be attributed to NAB Executive Vice President of Communications Dennis Wharton:

The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) announced today that local radio and television stations and broadcast networks have provided more than $44.3 million in free airtime to the critical issue of mental health through its OK2TALK Public Service Announcement (PSA) campaign. That includes more than 392,019 broadcast airings. The campaign launched in July 2013.

WASHINGTON, DC -- In response to passage of legislation to reauthorize the Satellite Television Extension and Localism Act by the Senate Judiciary Committee, the following statement can be attributed to NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith:

The NAB Education Foundation (NABEF) announced today that the 2014 Broadcast Leadership Training (BLT) class has graduated. The final student roster can be found here.

The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) announced the finalists for the 2014 NAB Marconi Radio Awards, honoring radio stations and on-air personalities for excellence in broadcasting. The winners will be announced September 11 at the NAB Marconi Radio Awards 25th Anniversary Dinner & Show, held during the 2014 Radio Show in Indianapolis.
