Emmy, Tony and Grammy Award-winning actor, singer, director, composer, and playwright Billy Porter will receive the NAB Show New York Impact Award on Thursday, October 17.

The NAB Leadership Foundation announces the members of the 2020 Broadcast Training Leadership class. The Broadcast leadership training program teaches the fundamentals of purchasing, owning and operating radio and television stations to senior level broadcast executives, particularly women and people of color, who aspire to advance as group executives or station owners.

WASHINGTON, DC -- Two Members of the House of Representatives have added their cosponsorship to a resolution opposing "any new performance fee, tax, royalty, or other charge" on local broadcast radio stations. The Local Radio Freedom Act (LRFA), which signals Members of Congress's opposition to any potential legislation that imposes new performance royalties on broadcast radio stations for music airplay, now has 194 cosponsors in the House and 24 in the Senate.

PILOT, NAB’s technology innovation initiative, announced today the winners of the latest round of its program that provides grants to National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) members to establish paid engineering or media-technology internships at their radio and television stations.
