WASHINGTON, DC -- Seven Members of the House of Representatives and one Senator have signed on as co-sponsors of a resolution that opposes "any new performance fee, tax, royalty, or other charge" on local broadcast radio stations. The Local Radio Freedom Act is now currently co-sponsored by 166 Members of the House and 12 Senators.

President and General Manager Barry Fisher testified today before the House Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee on Economic Development, Public Buildings and Emergency Management at a hearing on "FEMA Reauthorization: Ensuring the Nation is Prepared."
