The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) has joined with the Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE) to present the NABSBE Satellite Uplink Operators Training Workshop. Held at NAB headquarters September 30 – October 3, 2013, the Workshop will provide instruction on how to comply with FCC satellite regulations through formal training on the technical and operational practices that ensure safe, interference-free satellite transmissions for digital video and broadcast systems.

A new survey from the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) reveals that two-thirds of young adults have personal experience with mental health problems. Although the overwhelming majority of parents and young adults are supportive of discussing mental illness more openly, more than one-fourth of young adults (28 percent) and one in six parents (16 percent) admit they avoid talking about it.
