WASHINGTON, DC -- Participants from the National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation (NABEF) Technology Apprenticeship Program (TAP) will host a free webcast on how technology advancements impact the future of broadcast engineering. The webcast will be held live from 9-10 a.m. ET and again from 2-3 p.m. ET on September 29th. This program will complete the TAP participants' six-month apprenticeship.

CHICAGO -- NAB and RAB today announced the total number of registered attendees for the 2011 Radio Show, held this week in Chicago. The final number represents a 24 percent increase over last year.
WASHINGTON, DC/ARLINGTON, VA -- The National Radio Systems Committee (NRSC), co-sponsored by the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) and the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), today adopted an updated version of its in-band/on-channel (IBOC) digital radio broadcasting standard, NRSC-5-C. The new version includes more than 70 modifications that address improvements and refinements to the HD Radio system benefitting both broadcasters and listeners.
CHICAGO -- Winners of the 2011 National Association of Broadcasters Marconi Radio Awards were announced Thursday night at the annual NAB Marconi Radio Awards Dinner & Show held at the Radio Show in Chicago, Illinois.
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- NABEF opens registration for the foundation's new Leadership Development Program. The program will be held November 13-16, 2011 at NAB Headquarters in Washington, D.C. and targets broadcast professionals with three to seven years experience in the field.
