WASHINGTON, DC -- A bipartisan group of nine members of the House of Representatives have signed on as co-sponsors of a resolution that opposes "any new performance fee, tax, royalty, or other charge" on local broadcast radio stations. The Local Radio Freedom Act is now currently co-sponsored by a coalition of 215 Members of the House and 14 Senators.
